A qualified pastry and commercial cookery chef, Gabriella spent years making, observing and found that so many of Sydney’s bespoke producers made beautiful looking cakes that fell short when it came to flavour. With the motto that a truly memorable cake tastes as good as it looks, Gabriella opened the Sweet Passion studio and began creating customised cakes for Weddings, Birthdays, functions and other occasions, delivering to the Greater Sydney area 7 days a week. Gabriela created my fairy tale wedding cake and turned it into reality with amazing sugar flowers which looked like the real Lily of the Valley flowers (which you cannot get fresh in Australia in December). The cake was delicious and moist and my guests absolutely enjoyed it. Our gorgeous wedding cake was made by the wonderful Gabriella. Not only did it have the most delicious flavours of hazelnut and tiramisu in alternating tiers, she went beyond our expectations of what we pictured our cake to be like. She added the vines to keep to our theme and added cute butterflies - we didn't even ask for these extras. She just remembered my ex fiancé mentioning that I liked vines and butterflies. Gabriella made the most amazing croquembouche for our son and French daughter-in-law's wedding. We have had a few croquembouches in the past but this one was spot on. The toffee was still crunchy the next day, the custard inside the profiteroles was delicious and the tiny little flowers and orchid on top were exquisite. The guests couldn't get enough of it and most importantly the bride loved it. Gabriella, you made it so easy for us. Thank you again!
